They claim all new American made parts, not rebuilt stuff.
Only $59 at O'Reilly. Just $10 more than the rebuilt model.
Thinking of getting one.

Some good reviews, some bad ones
Best bet is to buy stock distributor from ebay. I bought two of them, mixed and matched parts from those and my old broken dist to make two good ones, installed one and kept the other as a built spare.

Bought a 98 distributor off a guy parting out his XJ for $20. Took it apart and cleaned/relubed it. Gear and oil pump drive were hardly worn. Now a spare. :-)

I returned the Richporter unit un-installed. On close inspection it is a piece of junk. Wires on the sensor were crushed already. The cap and rotor were bottom of the barrel quality. Richporter website says their stuff is all American made parts and assy. BS. This thing said China on the box.
So...I went to the jy and checked out numerous 4.0L motors in XJ's and ZJ's for a distributor. Found a real good distributor on one and brought it home. Took the shaft out and cleaned it all up.
Plastic disc was in like-new appearance. And no shaft wear on this one. The last two rebuilds were terribly worn. Used some moly assy lube on the shaft in the upper and lower bushings. Installed a thin o-ring between the bushings and inserted the shaft through the o-ring and put the disc back on the top. Then installed on the engine precisely per indexing instructions.
All good now. Runs great. No oil leaking up into the distributor.
