Default Have you ever had that feeling about winter in a XJ?

Ever have that feeling that you want it to snow so much that your the only one able to drive on the roads (or off road)? Or have it snow and go down a county road that hasnt been plowed yet and you see little hondas and S10s and what not stuck?

Well my jeeps outta commission while i wait for the school autos shop 2 post lift to be open so i can install my new (and correct) transfer-case. But thats kinda what I wanna do right now... Even tho it hasnt snowed like that in a while.

Maybe i should be asking if this is a normal and healthy feeling?

Yes, ever since I got it. It was awesome that the winter immediately following me buying my XJ the DC area got blasted by the worst winter storm in 100 years, 4' of snow!!! I had a blast driving around taking pics, too bad I lost the memory card to that camera. . . . d'oh!! lol

Ive only had mine for about a week. I got it when it started snowing at a pretty good rate. Solid 3 inches of snow still left from what the plows didnt do (I live on a country road that doesnt get plowed much)

Thats what I wake up thinking... And just like you I cry alittle...

We just had 8 inches over a week ago. As per usual there were too many bad drivers out there to make it enjoyable. Now we're suppose to get even more snow and ice. I'm not a fan when I HAVE to go out in it. I want to bang up my jeep on my own terms.

Well itd kinda be on my terms if I did so... Is it going to hit wisconsin do you think? Coz i should be able to fix my t-case before the end of the week (oh god i really hope i can get it finished) so some snow might be fun. For me atleast.

I love driving in the snow in it. It's the sound of the road salt pinging off my undercoating that has me gritting my teeth.

yea were supposed to get another big one again tuesday and wednesday, maybe a foot or more. mine, if i romp on it in 2wd,it just spins the wheels and i fishtail, and if i keep on it, i start doing 180's and 360's. 4wd i hav the traction, but if im going to fast and/or stop too fast, its slide city. but i just love it anyways.
