HI everyone, sorry for respondingetting late, I have been busy. I got a diagnostic which said that I needed my coils replaced so he replaced it. The car started messing up again and shaking as I set at the stop light with my foot on the brake. I gave him the car back.he kept the car for a day and a half and finally said that it was an evac sysyem Leak so he changed the hose.

But he'said really stern on what gas I use. His wife said she used mid grade when she drove it.he's telling me to put more seafoam in to flush out the bad gas (87) and to just use mid grade.

Lol I'm just really confused. I drove the car not too long ago and it was doing fine but this gas crap has me really paranoid. The manual even says to use regular. The manual said to use premium with a certain kind of engine (can't remember), but said it was not suggested.

You guys that you for the help. Everyone I've spoken to has said use regular, I just don't understand why he's saying different.

He was also saying that the gas has changed over the years aND this was safer.

He wants to make it sound like you did something wrong so he won't have to fix it.Get your money back or take it else where.

For the model year you have gas has not changed that much and that engine isn't that of a high compression one either. That guy is full of it I hope he's fixing all this for free and what he does do helps any at all with the real problem.

As for engines all that came in that year was a 4.0 6 cyd. inline, 4.7 V-8 and 4.7HO V-8 I have the HO engine and use regular fuel in mine.

I hope he accidently finds the real problem with all his fumbling around, good luck.
