So last week I posted a thread concerned about my XJ with it overheating.Turns out is was a blown head gasket.I myself am not that mechanically inclined to do such a job.So a guy that I know who is great with that stuff is in the process of keeping my baby alive.Head gasket was leaking in 3 different spots he got the head off took it to his machinist.Said it was warped from the heat so had it cut.Head should be back on today.Also got all new sensors new radiator "since it has a small hole" all new hoses and everything else needed.Oil change,filter etc...After all this I plan to put in a AEM Brute air intake,s 40 series flowmaster exhaust.Upgrade the fuel injectors instead of the 2 holes make it 4.then getting it lifted,

TJ flares,JCR front prerunner bumper.I also am in the process from making interior that was gray all black which is mostly done.re did the overhead console and headliner is next.i will post pics as it is done.A Long process but I can't wait.my jeep is a 1996 cherokee I am not sure which model xj the molding on the side is on the bottom and it has riffits I guess you could say? I'm assuming it's either a classic sport or country? Emblems were takin off already when I bought it.has 98,000 miles on it very clean and I paid 700$ for it when I bought it.

The overhead Consol looks great with the vinyl.

 

Did you paint your fender flares as well?

 

It is actually not vinyl paint it's a fabric I got from Joann's fabric.and the flares I didn't paint I bought it that way.does anyone know if this is a classic sport or country?
