I'm looking for...
-ipod control (preferably with some better means of getting from a to z than most seem to have)
-ipod connection in the REAR of the receiver
-bluetooth (for phone calls only, music steaming is not mandatory)
That's it....I am looking at the following models (below), and wanted to know if anyone has a different unit in their Jeep. With regards to the bluetooth calling, I just want to make sure that if I spend the extra money for bluetooth that is works well, and can be used regularly without problems on either end. With regard to the ipod, again as already mentioned I want to make sure navigation is not only easy, but efficient, and trouble free.

second option has no bluetooth built in but is added down the road for $150 which I'm not thrilled about...first option has no effective ipod navigation for getting from the A's to the Z's for example.
Any suggestions/thoughts appreciated, thanks!

I use to work for the devil(clear throat) I mean best buy for four long years...I was an AutoTech or car audio installer there.....I not sure if you've already purchased your radio yet, but if your still looking...STOP...all you need is about 160 bucks it will get you the DEH-3200 pioneer....hands down the best bang for the buck....has front 3.5 mm aux input for any device with a head phone jack and also has a USB input on the front for a direct connection to your iPod/iPhone just by using the charging cable....(allows you to access your songs through the deck instead of taking your eyes off the road to change that annoying black eye pees song, and charges as you play) most(99.9%) of your decks on the market will have the same output of 50-54x4 MOSFET....which is watt/per channel don't let anyone try talking you into some badass aftermarket door speakers either unless you plan on amping them later .....if you see a radio costing over 300$$ and it doesn't have a screen...your just buying the name.....I am installing a fully amplified system in my XJ this weekend....look for the write up.....and if you or anyone else needs any questions answered about car audio....I am the guy.....good luck.....also....try to find the lowest price in your town....then take the price to best buy....they have to price match it...just make sure the other guys have the radio "in stock".....may save you some $$$$$....god speed
