Going to make some calls and see how much it is for
1) fix the ceiling lining

2) Change the rear diff oil as she has no clue if it has ever been done

3) cut out and replace the floor--if it is rusted out.

4) New tires!! I know an AWD vehicles the tread has to be very close to each other to not put undue strain on the syetm. Is it the same for 4X4's? She never uses it as 4x4. I know the front passenger tire is a lot more worn than the others.

Labor is very cheap in Nica, I mean very cheap! Its just a matter of finding the right skilled people.

Many Thanks

Yeah.. Make sure all 4 tires are the same. You said she never used it as a 4x4 but if the front diff fluid has never been changed and you think you will be using 4wd might be a good idea to change that fluid as well although not completely nessasry as she didn't ever use it..

haha yep.. full time rear and engage the front when shifting to 4hi or 4lo. But then again I think you already knew that lol..

I've been wondering what rear axle does it have?

Wife phoned a garage and they said they can put in new flooring if its rusted out for about 1200 cordobas, which is about $55. I did say labor is super cheap here!!

Found a lady that may do upholstry, but she has yet to answer the phone

Can someone give me a break down of what fluids need to be changed?? I'm confused on that! I just realized it was a rear driven vehicle, lol

1 reason why I asked was this 1 garage told my wife (she speaks Spanish, not me) that the engine oil is the same oil that is used in the differential!! Does not sound right to me. This garage has not worked on this Jeep!!!

Thanks
