Really like the way this bumper attachment looks. Thought it would be called a bull bar but none of the search results look like this. How rare are these? Are they as durable as they look and how do they attach?

Warn makes a really nice one with a winch mount but for $600 that's a bit ridiculous

The stock bumper is just sheet metal and it's not very strong. You can bend one up just hitting a dog. Like everyone is saying, get a decent aftermarket bumper. There are lots of styles out there.

I like the stock bumper and really like that brush guard. Guess I'll look for any in Craigslist or JYs. My plan if I go aftermarket is the detours backbone to keep the stock bumper look still

Is a Warn front bumper not a real off-road bumper? Just curious as mine had both front and rear Warn bumpers when I bought it...no way would I buy them myself. I have since replaced the rear with a JCR as the Warn rear bumper with tire carrier is a piece of crap design.
What's wrong with the front?

Down here all the farmers have them just to push cows put of the way when feeding, so you can move the truck.
Really Brush Guards but not even good for that.

I think people are reading too into it for themselves. I want it for looks, I'm not hitting trees or cows or any rocks so I'm not looking for solid 1.5" OD tubing just wanted to make sure that they weren't like those old rusty nurf bars you see at the JYs all the time. I know you can easily find those push bars but the big seller to me is the headlight tubing as well without those guard wires in them.

What about deer, have you considered hitting deer? Ive never gone out and tried to hit one but a few months back it happened anyway. A good guard could have saved some body work.
Just something to consider, if you're gonna go through the effort of installing it, might as well make sure it's strong.
