Help identifying lift size and manufacturer & estimate of value.
Quick back story this is my father in laws xj he bought this quite a while ago with the lift already on it he was looking to sell it and I have been tossing the idea around of buying it. The lift looks like a RE 3.5 to me but I dont know **** about **** so Im asking for help. It looks like some sort of add a leaf to the back. In addition to that I have an 01 xj 145k that I was planning on lifting and doing some wheeling in but hes asking 6800 for this and seems like a no brainer since stock xjs are going for 3500-4500 in my area.
List of what I know he has done.
-New headers and exhaust sytems
-New aluminum 3 row radiator with auxilary fan and transmission cooler
-Rear disc brake conversion
Pictured xj has 169k miles and I know he hasnt wheeled it at all mostly just trails and driving around town. Is 6800 a good price point or am I missing something?

I would never pay that much for it. AAL is garbage and you never get your money back for modifications.
That being said, ive seen them go as high as 13,000 on ebay for nice ones so you never know. Its free to post on CL so if you get no hits, post it again a little cheaper.
Good luck!

$6800 is most definitely not a "family price for that Jeep, and I would absolutely not buy it for that price. It could be RE front springs from the photo, but it's hard to tell. What I do see is stock steering, stock upper control arms, and an unknown brand/vintage AAL lift. The only no brainer I see is to pass on it. If you paid anything near what you quoted for yours, you could put the difference into your Jeep and have a better build for less than $6800.

Here in the south that's a $2500 jeep if you're lucky. It it was full spings with uppers and lowers, good steering and at least one locker I'd say maybe 3k and that's if the interior is spotless.

I wouldn't pay half of that. I paid $4500 for my jeep which was similar to this when I bought it with 130k and I feel like I got ripped off. It was also from a dealer. $6800 is absurd.

A guy on here bought a xj on 1 ton axles for around 6 grand and all it really needed was new tires. And the axles swapped in it probably cost the last own 3 grand or more if he did it himself.A lot of times upgrades add no value and sometimes they can lower the value.

6800 bucks is the "im just testing the waters" kinda price Lol and definitely not a family price like someone said earlier. Here in florida, on the high end thats a 4500 dollar jeep.

Pass. I paid $4k for mine; 6.5" R.E. lift, 35's (with MT/R's all around), Bilstein's up front, shop re-geared to 4.56, swing-away rear bumper with 35" spare included, plus a proper Rhino-Lining on the tub. And the P.O. was a mechanic.
Check CL(This is for Phoenix) or just build up your own, that way you know EXACTLY what you have and it is built the way YOU want it. (Or head a couples hours east to ABQ
