Dark silver. (Grey primer and silver paint)
Every time I see a silver xj, I want to wave them down and ask if they want to trade. Even if it is stock and my wheels are worth more than their knocking rust bucket

Alright ,,,,
SO my new paint job is drying,…. I have some runs but it’s a Jeep right ?
I sprayed with a hvlp gun and diluted the Rusto with Mineral spirits. Here’s the question : How long do I have to wait until I wet sand it? And because I’ve NEVER done this before what do I do? After the wet sand what needs to be done to make it glossy / shiny?
Please keep in mind that I will have to sand by hand and what ever I need to do to bring back the gloss will be by hand as well… I’m looking for products that I can purchase at the Pep boys / Oriellys of the world FYI..
Please guide me on this one ..

If the paint its self is glossy yet sand with a 1000 or 1500 grit paper and put some car wax on it if not yet sand it clear coat it, wet sand it again then wax, it will look better with clear coat imo.

The guy I bought my roof rack from had just bought this one. I don't see this color very often and liked it so I took a pic. But a gray/ silver XJ looks awesome!
Take some more pictures when you're finished.
