Helper Leaf
Hi all. I have an '01 Cherokee and I've been looking into helper leaf springs. Are these really effective? Any side effects? Anyone recommend a certain type/brand? I have some rear end sag as well, hoping maybe a helper would cure some of that. Thanks guys!

First of all, not fab.
Second, helper springs are for the birds. Get new spring packs.
Third, are you running stock, or a lift? you'll need to make your choice of replacement springs accordingly.

Yup time for new leafs and coils and if you plan on a lift now is the time to do so and save money. A "Quality" made in NA 3" lift kit from Rustys is only $438 with full leafs, coils, shocks, new hardware. That's about an inch taller than the Up Country package that came on an XJ from factory as an add-on.
Most all of the leafs and coils you see listed are made in China now and have a lot to be desired.
