I've had mine on for over 6 months rub against some trees and rocks holds up a lot better than i thought it would. rocks were harder on the herculiner than the trees

Well I just bought a pack or sanding blocks at ACE hardwear. You dont need somthing really really rough, but you need something thats a little rough. Just something to scuff it up a little. To rough and youll be able to see all the scuffs. And I havent had any problems with it fadding. I used 3 coats total. Used the roller on most of the rockers, and then I did the inside of the door because you could see my white strip and I dident like it so U chose to do the lip inside the door. And I had to just spongue those spots in.

May go a new route instead of what i said in the beginning, Lets say i hold off and only do my bumper end caps right now, and my door trim. If i do two thick coats, one 1 quart be enough, you think, or should i still get the gallon
I think im going to get steel bumpers in march so im just looking for a quick way to clean up my end caps right now. The wife hates the way they look all cut up and discolored, not sure why when they will be covered in mud once they are cured.
So will a quart be Enough?

This stuff rocks. I've had my rockers and inside hurculined since I bought it. It holds up well I end up doing my whole jeep even tho I swore I never would but it looks awesome and I love it . The only problem with the herculiner I had was it fades. But it's nothing that high gloss black won't fix. Lol

I'd say don't brush it. I mean when you roll it it goes on a lot thicker. I'd rather have a lot more protection. I tried brushing it. And you'll get streaks in the stuff. Then you gotta go over it again and again. I'd roll it it looks best. Imo
