Handsome question Salad. I removed my back seat. Built a wooden structure (great place to store tools and parts) that is flush with the back half. Threw some carpet on it then a memory foam mattress cover and carpet on top of that. Spend a lot of time in bear country so a tent is worthless. My lady even made me some removable curtains. XJ into mobile home in less than an hour for me.

I think he poses a valid question about the carpet on the back of the rear seat. I'm also wondering what to do about that since I'm bedlining the interior. I've considered the idea of diamond plate attached with self tappers. But not too confident in it, doesn't seem to be any real good way of attaching it.

are you folding the seat down? if thats the case.. i rubber bed liner cut to fit would be great!
if the seat is staying up... man i have no idea.. havent even thought about that.. i dont throw anything in there other than normal gear and groceries lol

Its up most of the time but then again its down slot too and I was considering sacrificing my spare tire cover for the experiment lol its the same carpet at the back of the seat
