Default Hi lift mount ideas?

i have a hi lift, and its the 60inch one, i know i know the 48 inch one would of definatly worked fine considering i only have a 2 inch lift but i got the 60 inch for some reason, and now i cant find a good place to mount it, i want it on the roof but want a good and quick way to take it on and off,

if you have the factory roof rails you can drill a hole a place a bolt with some washers and wing nut and bolt it to the rails. just throw a cable lock in it and there ya go!

or do like i did and mount it to your bumper(mines stock)

i put mine on the hood with some all thread and wing nuts

I welded some of these guys really easily to my bumper and they hold very well. i am going to put my hi lift on my roof rack soon though.

This is what i did with my 83 full size I had drilled 2 holes and put in 2 bolts with lock nuts.

So the Two bolt mounts work out for you? I am concerned that two would not be enough

i run 2 bolts as well that are drilled out in the ends so i can put a lock thru them. They are a bit thicker than those. and no matter what bolt you get just get a grade 5 bolt and you will be good!

i used the "D" rings in the back with some velcro straps to hold it down, i dont care if everyone see's my cool jack, its nice and safe in the LOCKED jeep.

thanks for the idea!, i was kinda hoping to put the spare there, i'm also looking at doing something like this:

looks almost like a 33? i have a 33 spare that fits in the back like that but its tight like fully against the seat and the hatch hits it when its closed but the tire doesnt move around at all

Inside is always better if its a DD. Unless you plan on driving around without a jack 99% of the time.

here is how I re mounted mine.

I use Thule Rack attachments and attach it to my roof bars:

(ignore the long bolts this was during mock up)
I can stand on the jack and it wont do anywhere.
