check mine out but a little tube work involved, lol and a couple bolts and wingnuts and your in there

 

With a 60" jack your only option is to mount it on the roof. I would suggest finding someone with a 48" that is looking to upgrade, maybe you can make a trade with cash on their side.

But, since you are stuck with it, I did a quick search and I found this guy's write-up. Maybe it will give you some ideas.

I put my 60 inch on the back of my hatch... I know what you mean on trying to find a place to mount a 60 inch Hi Lift is difficult. This is the best I could come up with. I still need to go down to the parts store and get some shocks for the hatch that are rated for more #'s due to the extra weight. I'll try and find something today or tomorrow and get you a part # of what I come up with.

I just used the store bought mounts & re-bent them to mount the way I wanted them to.

I have a surco rack but the jack being on the bumper seems more convienent, lets see hi-lift mounted pics and a description of how you mounted them, Ive seen them on the front bumper and I must say, it looks pretty sweet there!

 

ive seen quite a few many people just put them under the rear seat... seems to fit pretty good there.

Anyone ever mounted a hi lift similar to this but actually mount it to the back of the seat so that when you fold the back seat down it would be out of the way??

 

You could probably runs some short wood screws through it and put a mount on it.. I'd say it'd probably work pretty good

 

Keep in mind access to your jack when you're stuck and actually need it. Bumper mounted jacks could be a real problem of your bumpers on the ground, against a rock, against a tree, etc.

Ideally you'd never need it (and could just leave it at home), but then Murphy's Law will bite your butt. Same thing with mounting it on your bumper, if you're stuck in a hole and you jack is between your Jeep and the ground, you're stuck.

Mine's on my roof rack, if my jack is ever stuck between my Jeep and the ground...well I've got bigger issues!
