High oil pressure?
3 days ago I went up in the mountains and the oil pressure was perfect 25psi at warm idle and 40-50psi depending on rpms. Well I came home and let her sit for the past 2 nights then went to start it and noticed my idle was pushing past 60psi and going to 80psi when driving around.
I changed the oil this morning helped just a tad. But still I'm like 55psi at idle and 75psi when driving. Anyone know of any part stores that check oil pressure manually, and what it cost or should I just replace the oil pressure sending unit and start there. What else might be causing it? Thanks

i ended up just changing the sending unit, changed a good bit, idles at 40psi and run's to 50psi so im not too worried, weird it doesnt idle around 25psi anymore. Oh well, drive it, break it, fix it.
