Im a busser so I get paid around $10/hour I only fill up once every 2 weeks or so which is $35 so I have around $400 every 2 weeks to buy what ever. My Jeep was $1800 already lifted 5 inches so did not have to save up for a lift kit just gotta get new tires since these are worn down.

Mine should be lifted by next summer if I can find a job, a guy I know said he would get me into his restaurant he is a good friend of the family so I may finally have a job soon just gotta get in contact with him. Soon as I get money some goes into savings, some towards the jeep, some towards gas, insurance blah that crap, and whatevers left is fun money

when i say illegal wheeling im not refering to it being illegal to go to the place we wheel. its a local place called the plains its town property and its pre made trails. theres all of 3 trails that are meant for state vehicles only. unfortunately the best ruts are at the top of those trails. there "off limits" for being under high tension wires. ive been up there and questioned by the police before. they just want people to stay clear of the high tension rigs.

I bought the 84 XJ first, had the tires/wheels on it, I bought it for 600 bucks with a bunch of extra parts.
I bought the 89 XJ for 1200 bucks bone stock, put the stock wheels and tires on the 84 XJ, and sold the 84 for 500 bucks with no extra parts.
Bought a RC 6.5 lift
Traded the parts (new in box) to a local shop for labor to put the lift on.
Put the tires/wheels from the 84 on the 89.
That was pretty much my start. In the long run I had... 2300 in my jeep, and I drove it like that with no problems for 2 years before starting to mess with it and break things.
