There is no reason for moldy/smelly carpet and stained up seats. Ugh.
That's what leather and bedliner is for!

I Wash and wax every couple of weeks. The cycle usually goes like this:

1. John washes and waxes his Jeep.
2. John forces himself to stay on the pavement for about a week.
3. Saturday Night rolls around and John breaks down and takes his Jeep above the lake. Contact with tree branches ensues.
4. John leaves his Jeep muddy for about a week, every once in a while noticing a scratch through the mud and cringing.
5. John guilts himself into spending 4 hours washing and painstakingly waxing and buffing every singe scratch out of the Jeep.
Repeat.

I normally wash it as per dirt, but once a year i take a few days and do everything. Wash, wax, lubricate vinyl/rubber/plastics, polish chrome, touch up paint, clean every crease inside and out. All so i can take it to a car show. Here's a pic from said car show.

I was mine more in the winter then the summer. Mainly to get all that damn rocksalt off the body, trying to save my almost rust free jeep from rusting away. I clean my interior alot though. The outside can be dirty but the inside must be clean! Thats the only thing I would really clean after I go offroading.

nice nice i try to keep my as clean as possible ive already shampooed the interior twice this summer and wash the exterior at least 3xs a month. Although it does look pretty cool with mud for a day or two. Once winter comes I am gonna be washing it weekly because Chicago puts insane amounts of salt.

Trail damgage is for people... Ill stop myself.
It looks awful, worse so than mud.

I wash mine in the summer probably once a week. During the fall it gets neglected. And The winter I wash it as much as I can. Calcium chloride rots stuff faster than rock salt.
