How do YOU prep your XJ for the winter?

As has been mentioned, getting as much maintenance done as possible before the weather gets cold! Not much I hate worse than having to work on anything in the freezing cold.
I sprayed the chassis with Fluid Film in an attempt to slow up the tinworm. Basically the same idea as spraying with motor oil but this stuff adheres much better. The idea is to apply it each fall before the winter season sets in. This is something I've started doing on our cars just last year so I won't know for a while how effective it is, but it seems promising.

Model: Cherokee
Engine: 4.0L
Flush the radiator and refill cooling system with 70/30 mix antifreeze/water.
Switch from 20w-50 oil to 5w-50 oil. When it starts getting below 50F outside 20w-50 gives me an oil pressure of 90 while the engine is cold. No bueno.

Right, because we don't have winter in California.
I totally photoshopped this.
and this...
Also, this one...
Not that I make any special preparations for winter (because that would be a stupid waste of time living in a state without winter) but if I did, I would allegedly throw my chains and survival kit in back along with an extra tow strap. My survival kit would include a blanket, rain poncho, folding saw, matches, JetBoil stove, freeze dried Mountain House teriyaki chicken & rice (3) and beef stroganoff (2), Cliff bars (12), coffee, and first aid, among other things. I might also take a moment (but no more than a moment) to check the pressure in my spare.
Theoretically
