How to get more flex out of a 3" lift
Sorry if its a noob question, but how would you go about gaining more flex with a 3" lift, of course removing swaybars but what else could you do, if u switched out the stock lca would that help? Again this might sound stupid but could u make a long arm setup work with a 3" they havr em for 4.5" lifts thats only 1.5" more.

I think the LAs would hit the curve in the unibody but I'm sure you could slot the frame but thats probably more work than you're looking to do.
Softer springs and some better LCAs would be the best upgrades.

Coil Springs don't really effect flex. If you look at alot of pictures that tire will hang down to the point the spring is not even touching the body anymore on alot of people's long arm trucks. The tire will travel the same path as far as the control arms move. Right up until it hits a fender well or bump stop, and right on down until something stops it, like the bottom of the control arm swing or the shock being fully extended. Spring does not change control arm travel. Longer control arms, or control arm drop brackets will, but you'll have trouble finding any pre-made for a 3" lift. Most people with 3" lifts and long arms make their own long arms.
