it really goes as fast as you want it to. depending on your prep work and how motivated you are.
i was told it would take 4 hours to re and re my exhaust header.
i had it out in 25 minutes and back in, in 45 minutes.

About 6 hours, two broken upper rear shock bolts broke and I drilled and retapped them. Rear spring bolts fought me pretty hard coming out, but didn't break luckily. Granted this was at the shop with air and all the tools (And a helper for the last couple hours). I probably could have done it faster, but was'nt really in a hurry when I did it. I prefer to work slowly.

My first one only took 3 minutes....

things would have to be almost falling off by themselves to do it in 3 hours, IMO.

Depends if you know what you are doing. When I put my 4.5" lift on from rc the actual working part on it took about 6 hours. But kept taking brakes since was about 100 outside

On my last XJ, from the time the wheels came off, to the time they went back on when done, about 6 & 1/2 months. Made it bit by bit.
On my other Jeeps, average half a day. My record for completely removing a front axle entirely is 1 hr 35 minutes, rear is just under an hour.
This Jeep took me zero minutes to lift, because it had one at purchase.
Hey, after this many, I deserve a gimme, I earned my wings.

Took me and a buddy about 6 hours to get everything off and about 3 hours to put everything back in including new ujoints in the front, bleed the brakes and do the diffs.

Sounds like most of you did the 4.5 inch. Mines the 3 inch. All there is to do is front springs and shocks. Sway bar drop brackets. Lower control arms. And rear add a leafs and rear shocks. I'm also throwing on a new steering stabilizer. Easy peasy.... I hope! I got a can of move it. For seized bolts. Wish me luck
