That doesn't make any sense... is your swaybar not turning inside the bushings like it should? Listen man... I've installed several 3" lifts, a couple 4.5"s and a few 6.5"s. With the 4.5"s and 6.5"s they've always gotten extended links or quick disconnects. With the 3"s they've always gotten quick disconnects or ran with the stock links... I've never, ever seen those stock links bend due to a 3" lift... if your's are, you've got some parts that need replaced.

Bend that link back and you'll most likely break., dude stock links suck, it'll make life easier if you just get some disconnects ... you'll think yourself later when you want to flex your xj and can disco the sway bar in no time. To each his own. But since your probly gonna have to replace that link anyway. Might as well upgrade

It took me and a buddy about 9-10 hours......looooong day but you will learn lots about your jeep and it worth it seeing your rig sit higher!

I broke a few. One of the 4 sway bar mounts that goes to the unibody. (but I'll mount drop bracket with one bolt and a weld bead). I'm gonna go with disconnects. I broke a u bolt, Also broke 2 of the 4 lower front shock mount bolts but those are easy I actually put 4 new ones in that I had layin around(grade 8). I used breaker bars and air the whole time and used professional grade Moovit( applied everyday for a week). Jeep doesn't have a spot of rust on it. But it went smoothly. Took about 3 hours for the front and 3 for the rear. And that includes hitting on lordco drivers when they came, drinking beer, going to get new u bolts, and all around screwin the pooch! Easy install if u ask me. Just need an alignment now

Thought you would all like to see how it went since I started this thread. Front took 3 hours. Same with the back. 6 total. We took out time and there was an abundance of beers and girls around so it was a distracting job but we got er done. Broke 3 front lower shock bolts. Broke a u bolt. And broke one of the sway bar mount bolts. Sway bar is out now and never going back in so. Here's the pics. Rear is sagging cuz of the 1500w amp and 3500w subs. Also chains, jackall, tools, and come-along. I think it looks great. Just need tires. I might use angle blocks in the rear to lift a tad more and correct the angle, let me know wht size and angle if anyone knows
