I have about 142000 on mine, only a few regular maintenence problems have come up, bad shocks, bad coil pack, spark plugs, dead aux fan moter, A/C yelling at me, etc. Most I ever seen on an XJ though, this- http://www.allpar.com/old/high-miles/richey.php

88 cherokee with 306,000k . PO told me the motor was rebuilt with only 80k when i got it but i dont have any paper work on it so im not sure..

Almost broken it...
It's almost broken it with 108,481 miles. Still got a loooong life ahead. Just gotta keep all the q-tips away. This is Florida, after all.

Golly what year!!!? Im glad to have my jeep now. As soon as I got mine I changed the oil to Royal Purple, new distributor rotor, new distributor, new spark plugs wires and plugs, new air filter, new rear shocks and just today got a BG coolant flush...best $149 i ever spent on a car!
