How much have you spent on upgrades so far?

I can honestly justify spending money on my XJ when I only paid 4k for it about 6 years ago with 50k original miles and completely stock. Basically looked like it came right off the showroom floor. Now with 73k miles, it's pretty much at that point where the original parts are starting to fail (like the fuel pump and the ignition coil did recently). I know the cooling system can use an update because the radiator is literally deteriorating. Fortunately a lot of the original parts are in great shape.

It's one of those things you just lose track of over time, possibly the big items you recall but those $50-500 things you tend to forget, it is what it is.

On upgrades alone? Not including fluids looking in the neighborhood of $500.
Pulled rear disc brakes off a 95 grand, got some new parking brake cables from Morris4x4, new lug studs to fit the disc brake, brake booster off a 96 Cherokee, putco harness, audio system with amp, sub and custom box, I'm sure there is more I'm missing but those were the big ones so far.
Large capacity oil filter, led strip lights under dash, upgraded and additional grounds.
If you add in fluids for that stuff the price about doubles. IIRC it was about $400 total for the disc swap when including the fluids as I did the front and rear diff fluids when I put on the rear discs. I did the disc swap and booster swap at different times so I drained and refilled the brakes twice.
I'll be draining the brakes again at some point to, I just have to piece together my lift and then I'll swap in the D44 I got at the junk yard after I get the disc brakes to fit on the D44. My cost on that alone will probably double what I've spent on upgrades.
