'94 XJ Sport, 4.0/AW4/D30/Cryco 8 1/4LSD /NP242... no mechanical issues...
Purchase price 1000
Tires (31/10.50/15) trade+100 (new)
Lift (3 1/2") 75
CB (new Cobra) 120
Front skid/Gas skid (wrecking yard) 30
Front brakes (had caliper freeze up) 100
Kenwood/JBL/Alpine stereo (from earlier rig) free
Have done all work myself, this is my 4th Jeep, second XJ... collecting steel for bumpers/rock rails... sh!tcanned rear swaybar, removed flairs, will be trimming fenders shortly... next major buy will be an Aussie for the front and 4.10 gears... wheel the snot out of it regularly, and it's also my DD... pulling 18-19 mpg on highway... lots of little things done to it: relocated IAT sensor, replaced plugged cat and bad muffler, raised rear of hood to allow the notorious under-hood heat to escape, removed venturi from intake tube, rear BPE (using rear swaybar axle mount bracket), relocated brake lines, 3/8" lock washer behind steering knuckle turn stops (tired of tires rubbing LCAs at full-lock), lift consists of rear S-10 main leaf as AAL, Comanche rear shocks, front coils from V-8 ZJ and 2" poly spacer, YJ front shocks, 2" homebrew swaybar link extentions... works very well, no driveline issues, rides great, flexes awesome for being shortarm... will be doing KJ rear disc swap soon, and later-style dual diaphram brake booster/MC combo... stock XJ brakes blow goats!

Ha :-)
All you guys that feel like you are into it a lot...don't worry about it. You got a deal
$7500 for the Jeep (that was blue-book consistent at the time)
$2750 Atlas 4 sp (I don't regret it at all - it is awesome!)
$2000 Currie 9" with ARB (you could do this a lot cheaper in a junkyard, but hey - it isn't YOUR money)
$250 Waggy D44
$500 or so for all the bracketry and such for that D44
$2000 Clayton longarm kit, 6.5"
$800 Detours offroad rear bumper w/tire carrier
$800 for four custom driveshafts (CV and non-CV fronts, main and spare rear CV shafts)
$250 or so for AJsoffroad sliders
$850 Warn winch
$1350 New KM2's and alloy wheels
$1200 5 BFG Krawlers for the trail.
$200 front winch bumper ebay style
$1300 ish axle shafts for all corners, using stockers for spares
Almost 22K over the last 4 years. I spent a lot of it a while back, so I have been just enjoying it and spending very little on it for a couple years until my recent tire splurge for the KM2s.
Any newbies just getting started...don't worry. You can spend a lot less than this

Yeah, its definitely a lot more. After I posted I was remembering some more stuff and I still got to get lockers, winch and a bumper. I think this outlaw jeep done got out of hand, what started out to be a little fun , the wife just don't understand !
