When I bought my CJ I began a spreadsheet with all the costs associated with my jeep. Then a friend of mine said "Why leave all that evidence? You are going to be married one day and there will be proof that you love your jeep more than the ring you buy." sage advice. Now I just guesstimate... Low. capdaddy

$2000 on craigslist for bone stock 1997 Cherokee Sport 4x4 4.0 (120K), owner had just had transmission rebuilt and diffs/transfer case flushed.
$250 on Dynomax catback and Magnaflow high flow cat
$120 for both new oxygen sensors
$50 for new front brakes
$150 for Alpine headunit
~$60 for H4 headlight upgrade
$250 for 30" tires
ehh, probably like $3500 total including various oil changes and small tune up items

Just found out today it needs a motor
When it was running I had about $3000
85 2dr 4spd with a 2.5
Got my 2nd one $500 with 70k on the motor and a blown rearend
Just a rearend so far
Wheels and tires
About $850 in
