Top one was a little after I got her when I was 17 just after I put the rack on, had an '84 Ranger before that.
Second one is her a couple months ago, I'll be 19 in the summer and I plan on having her around for many more birthdays!

I was 19 when i bought a 93 xj for parts. Then found my current 95 xj with a lift and have been driving that between my nissan as dailys. Always looking for more parts.
Best memory so far was cruising power lines with a good friend on its maiden voyage. Couldn't get the smile off my face for days.

32, I've had it for over 4 years now and added a whole fleet of XJs since then. Pics are from when I first bought it to how she currently sits.

Got this 1985 4cyl when I was a freshman in highschool for $350 from my dads friends parents I spent 3 months sanding it and even went as far as body filler to make it look a little better until I could afford to drive it. It was the start to my addiction sold it after 5 years to get a 90 Laredo then got out of jeeps for awhile but now I have a 99 2door sport and a 96 4dr

First one was when I was 16. It was so damn cherry it wasn't even funny. I wish I could say "I've had it for almost 10 years" but sadly, I totaled it in 05 - about 6 months after I got it.
My current one was purchased in May 2013. I was 24.

Bought my 01 when I was 15 with 62K on it, 20 and 116K miles now and she's still with me! All my memories are currently being suppressed with worries of the 0331 head crack..

Gotta agree with another poster, this thread makes me feel old lol. I got my 85 xj last summer and I was 46. Always was interested in them from the time they first came out. Got this one from a co-worker who had let it sit in his driveway for 7 years untouched because it stopped running like it should. Just needed the computer replaced(eliminated it actually). It only had 142k miles on it, and still in great shape.
I imagine I will have it a long time, haven't owned any vehicle less than 7 years, and my F150 I have now I bought new in 96. Can't force myself to get rid of it, but the XJ rides so much better

30ish. Getting married changed my priorities in life. Rather sock away a bundle of cash to buy my own piece of property one day rather than live under a mountain of car debt. My XJ will be here for awhile.
