when i bought mine, i actually came across three CL listings for 97+ 2 door 4x4 4.0 5-speed and only one for a 97+ 4 door. guess it depends on the area.

Jimmy and it felt roomier than the 4door did. so I can under
stand tha.

In November of 1996, I purchased a new two-door 4x4 because it was over $1200 less expensive than the four-door version. For going on 15 years and 231,000 miles, I have enjoyed the ease of ingress and the compliments on it's body style.
In 1984, wasn't one of the incentives to buy a Cherokee was that it could be had with four doors while the S-10 Blazer and Bronco II could not? Customers were tired of having to crawl and twist into a back seat.

Well I guess if you are loading a bunch of people in your jeep alot you may prefer a 4 door but for guys like me who are not pileing people in their jeep a 2 door is just Fine
