2 Door 5 Speed XJ Cherokee
I just picked up a 2 door 5 speed 4.0 straight six XJ Cherokee for 300 bucks. It needs to be painted and the headliner needs to be replaced. It gets down and shifts hard. It'll burn the back tires in first gear and chirps in second and third.

No not the exact number I've tried to find the numbers and it's dang near impossible. I myself am 16 year old and just bought a 2 door 4x4 5 speed and plan on keeping it for quit awhile the fact that it is in almost mint condition, but I look at jeeps all the time and don't see that many for sale at all and when I see them for sale they don't last that is for sure.

1992 Cherokee 2 door
I recently came across this thread and figured that I should share what I have gotten my hands on over the past few months. I've known a guy who has had one for years now and it was poorly maintained and beaten over the 5 years he had it. The Cherokee is so hard to come by and I'm happy I was able to get this one. It's a 1992 Jeep Cherokee 2 door 4x4 Laredo 5-speed with the 4.0 straight six, something I've never seen before and I knew I had to have it.
I am currently restoring it as it has very rusty flooring and a slave cylinder leak in the trans. Brakes and suspension will be replaced soon as well. I really don't want to let this thing go. I am currently 17 and I already know that this is a rare find. I plan on keeping this for as long as I can. I will be welding in new floor pans this week!
