How to tub out your rear fenders ?????
ok so I just looked at the post named above, can not replie to the thread so I though I would ask here,,,
now do not get me wrong but I do not understand from what I read and saw in the pic's you did not tub anything out..
the meaning of tubing the fenders out is to widen the fenders. you cut inside the jeep all up and from what I can see in the pics you could have just cut the outside and welded in a pice of rolled sheet like you did with out even being inside the jeep. the rolled sheet is now out fearther from the corder panle acting like a fender flare.
it not only looks like it would just get caught and bent all to crap on the trail making a big risk of going into your tire.. not just that but on the street if your in a parking lot and someone cuts themself they can take your a$$... to court...
am I missing something in the wright up.. its a great wright up and I can tell you took a lot of time to do the work and do the tech wright up but again not putting down your work just asking am I missing something here as it seems like a lot of work for something that would take about 20mins a side with out gitting in the jeep...
just cut the corder out and weld in a rolled sheet...
yes it make the fender taler as the corder panle is now gone but.....

The point of the project is lengthen your wheel well to fit bigger tires when just trimming isnt enough.
The little flare thing he makes is optional.
