I just bought a headerand wrap
Ok my stock header has a crack and im getting 10 mpg's.I just baught this header http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...84.m1438.l2649
And this wrap http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...84.m1439.l2649
I know ebay's like"eesh!" but I needed a header and I want to keep underhood temps down, I also wanted to wrap my injectors. So what do you all think?does the wrap work out of any experience anyone might have? Also what else could I do to get better mpg's?

Also, does that look like a good header that wont crack?I really like the way it looks, and if I put the wrap on will it cause corrosion?I was planning on spraying some high temp paint on the wrap, it says to do so, so it will keep moisture and debris out of the wrap, what do you all think?

When I was getting ready to install my header I found that many people saying that wrapping it is not a very good idea. That being said if you haven't already ordered here's a link to a proven manifold and it is cheaper than what you linked of fleabay.
http://www.ineedparts.com/auto-parts...-manifold.html
And that was the first link I found, probably could be found cheaper if searching around, but there is many reviews of the APN.

Wow it actually looks like the same header, and it has the same description.Although I did already buy the other one, its actually still cheaper.I paid 169.99 with free shipping, when the one listed is 159.90+19.95 shipping, so its actually ten $ more.Anywho, I actually just purchased these items today and am waiting shipment, When I have everything up I'l come and post my results. The only thing I didnt like about the wrap was that it says its smokes a bit before break in but it only lasts for a while, or so they say.I just wanted some input from anybody that has had experience with wraps before, and how well they do.Any help appreciated, thanks.

For better mpgs u could always put in neon injectors, cold air filter, new 02 sensors, high flow exhaust, and most off all be generous with the skinny petal.

I was thinking of the neon injectors, but for my next project I want to get a 62mm bored TB, and a high-flow cat. I already got a CAI kit. I just want to get as many mpg's as I can because I was planning on driving my jeep from Laredo, Tx to Pleasenton, Ca. So far I'v replaced the radiator, the shocks, the motor mounts, tranny mounts, and alot of other stuff.

Ok I istalled the new header with the wrap a couple of days ago, and I have to say I have an increase in torque, and horesepower, I had also been wanting to change my spark plugs, because I had the platinum and the jeep ran like ****, so I replaced my spark plugs with copper ones and my jeep feels smoother than when I baught it, it feels like a completely new jeep!!Worth every penny if u ask me, if anyone has a cracked exhaust manifold, you need to get it fixed. Also my mpg bumped up to 13 mpg
