I have my 2000 XJ with 190xxx on the motor, its covered in stratches and has a bad dent on each rear quarter panel. My buddy is selling his 1990 chevy stepside silverado that has way less mileage, fresh paint job, brand new rims and tires. Borla exhaust dumped out the side. SO its THIS:

Should i sell of the jeep for this truck? Ive been offered 5000 for my jeep and my buddy said he would take 4500 for his truck.

Lol no way dude. Look at it this way.
If u ever wheel with that truck the truck will get scratched. Even immaculate or not. Your xj is pretty sweet and will flex better than a step side.
If I were you id get both lol :P

Hell no gas mile age is way worse in the chevy jeep is more reliable and no IFS on the jeep

Chevy 1500:
-seats 3 w/ no interior cargo
-10-16 ish mpg
-IFS/10 bolt
-stepside=cool, but less cargo area
-just another bowtie

Jeep:
-seating for five w/ covered interior cargo area
-14-20 ish mpg
-Solid axles front/rear
-roof rack(if you count the stock one)
-way more aftermarket offroad support
-ITS A FREAKIN' XJ!!!!!

So if you cant tell... I would choose the XJ, but If it was a K2500, diesel/Big block, 4x4 I would trade to have a tow rig and build another XJ

im thinking i may sell the xj, buy this before someone else snags it then eventually buy another xj and start from stratch, which is what ive been wanting to do, and my xj gets horrible gas mileage as it is so its not tooo much difference.
