I paid 900 for my 93 with 220000 and it didn't really need anything! Sounds like a lot of miles but its got a lot left so idc. Idk where you are located but where I am I see cheap cherokee's all the time!

I'm in the same boat, about to start looking for something different. Been looking for about four months now and have not come across many that were in great shape but what can ya expect for a 10 year old car.
