if you had a stock xj, in decent condition, and 10,000$ to spend on it...what would you do? what parts would you want to get and what would be the end goal of your jeep? (pretend you just won 10k in the lottery and its all going on the jeep, lol)

 

-Nice Long arm lift
-nice wheels and tires
-upgraded axles
-lockers
-body cage+strengthening unibody
-sliders
....
the list goes on...

 

I would just buy 5-10 more XJ's.

Cause why not?

 

Water proof engine, onboard tire inflation system, and much more but I would have to play the lotto again to buy the rest I want. Bullet proofed body upgrades and windows cost 500k.

 

I'd buy a welder and then fab a ton of stuff including a long arm system, bumpers, sliders etc. It'd be locked dana 60 front 14 bolt rear.. Cammed vortec 5.3l with 4L60E tranny atlas twin stick.. 40 inch tires. Oba. Full exo cage. Winches front and rear. And of course a huge American flag waving off the back.

 

I'd make my car some wings and fly away.

 

A second economy car and then spend about $2 grand for a small lift, 31's and a decent welder. Or I'd use the money for college tuition for a semester.

built tons and a longarm conversion with coil overs should use that 10k up pretty quick.

 

2 grand for tyres and and 8 grand in the glovebox for travelling money,ta da work for four months.

 

ya thats the road im on, lol...just wondering what everyone else would do, lol

 

if i had anything left over, i'd do a doubler setup on the cases with a flipped 300.
then would be beadlocks and rubber. winch and bumpers, etc would come later.
