It's funny, back when i used to take my purty s10 zr2 offroad (was also my dd) i used to be the cautious guy. Now with having an xj as a dedicated trail rig and a "idgaf attitude" towards the body, it's hella more fun. I pretty much point and shoot on the trails now but with using common sense.

Help for the Slow Kid.... Engine Vibration (the bad kind)
Hey All, help the slow kid on the short bus here... I am having trouble with my 96 Cherokee... just replaced the engine mounts with the Daystar ones and now I have a gawd-almighty vibration that is felt thru the steering wheel and of course the seats. I checked all the normal stuff, and then put in a new Serpentine belt in, and that kinda helped, but not much... Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!

My funny wheeling trip wasnt really a trip at all. Got a call from a couple idiots I know about how they had gotten 2 trucks stuck and needed help out. Both trucks were full of people and they all decided to call people. I get there and five more like new truck with street tires follow me in. Long story short I sat with all my recovery gear ready and watched more people get stuck till finally they got out lol. Most got stuck before the trees cause they didnt want to scratch them lol!!!!

We generally try to do runs to a place in Mid MO, at least once a month, and usually we get a pretty good sized group of us going. This one time there was probably only about six of us (all Wranglers), and this guy shows up in this brand new JK, with this like thousand dollar bumper with lights all embedded in it and stuff, and like the best stuff money can buy.
To get to the obstacle we were going to you have to climb this pretty moderately hard hill. Definately need at least 33's a rear locker, skids and some sliders. This guy had all the stuff, watched a couple of us go up (he was at the bottom of the line), told us he didnt want to scratch up his new Jeep and his girlfriend wasnt comfortable with it, so they actually turned around and went home. I told him to have her get out and walk and she could take pics, but they wouldnt bite. I just dont get it. The place where we were has the reputation of having their acess roads, as moderate trails. LOL So he knew long before he came what he was getting into.
2 hour drive, $20 entry fee for nothing. Its been a joke since. I think hes looking for an XJ to wheel now and keep the purty JK at home. LOL
