mechanic/welder/fabricator here. and i deal with all kinds of arrogant people. that think they know what they are talking about. so i have to be polite. when they ask a dumb question i have to explain why it wont work. then explain what has to be done for it to work. not just be an a$$ and treating them like idiots. so there for its no diffrent here than at work. but some people here think they can be rude to them. because that person is not in front of them. as far as me kissing your feet i think not.

 

Why are you so bitter? You may have experience and knowledge to share, but instead you lash out at others you perceive as less than yourself. Didn't you get a helping hand somewhere along the way when you were climbing to the pinnacle of Jeep knowledge where you're now residing? Think back to those times sir. We all need to eat some humble pie occasionally.
I am still a Jeep newb and as far as my post count, I'm retired and spend lots of time here and lots of my posts have been me trying to help people needing help or info. I only wish I had more knowledge about Jeeps.

i don't get you dude. i used to be a social worker, and the juvenile delinquents that i worked with were about the same mentality as you. do you have anger management issues or just a weird sense of humor? because, people like you only get along with the same kind of people. not very polite.

I believe that and I've run into a couple people like that over the years. I am just asking a question I think a lot of people are pondering.

 

XJOFFROAD, the more I read your posts the more I get you. You have the same sarcastic locker room humor that I am used to around my work. Just use your filter. I read through quite a few of your posts in other threads and you offer a lot of help and information. But for everyone on this board I would say this is not just your board, it belongs to everyone and moderators are the only ones with the right to correct anyone's actions or questions. There are a lot of people who will ask more stupid questions than you have time for so just let it go. I laugh sometimes when I see three A/C or Coolant questions in a row with the same request but my life is consumed with enough things to stress out over, like a new baby, a lack of sales at work, and family members just having no act right. So instead of trying to set those you will never know straight just do what you do best and help those who you can.

Come on guys. Yes I did come here and gave crap for every stupid question. Yes I did tell people to search and that you are an idiot for thinking a d35 will withstand 37" tires. I was rude because of ones here that suggested to run 37's on a d35 that didnt know what the heck they were talking about. I'm a nice guy in real life but there are some things here that a simple search will find their answer.

society today wants everything handed to them. thats wrong. has a little research ever killed anyone? no. most of you "long timers" here did research into a lot of your issues you had with your jeep. no one wants to do that. if I tell you to search, or thats an idiotic question, just means you need to do a little research. everyone now whats everything handed to them.

someone here use the analogy of a teacher teaching kids. we are not school children here so get over it. you are not teaching someone just by telling them what to do to fix there death wobble. they need to learn by SEARCHING! its that simple.
