I am originally from Willoughby, OH, have relatives in Ravenna, OH (hey, troy_fritz) and lived for a short time in Lakewood, OH (hey, JasonPrime), just moved to Tampa, FL with my 2000 XJ.
My wife and I both have XJs, which I purchased from my former employer for $150 each. They are retired TV news cars with more than 150k each, a little rough, but run great. I originally intended to donate one to Boy Scout Camp Stigwandish in Madison and fix the other one up to bang around in, but after I got laid off last December we gave up our newer cars (H3 and Element) and began driving the XJs.
I have become fond of them and have begun fixing things here and there. Makes me feel like a kid again, when Dad and I spent weekends working on our cars.
Great forum; I have found a ton of resources already!

I'm David, from Oxford, Mississippi.
New to the XJ world, but been jeeping in my '58 CJ5 for awhile now.
I have owned quite a number of cars, trucks, and SUV's but none have I been hooked on like my Jeeps. There haven't been any I have wanted to mod like this XJ. It's going to keep getting built, and be one hell of a toy when I am done.
