Pre 99 I think it was, the back hatch was fiberglass. Think it was 99 or 00 they changed over to steel.

I gotta agree. You are responsible for your own stuff means if you rip your rig apart on his obstacles/course, then he is not liable. If someone hits you, same rules apply as if it was on the street. Get that bastage to pay for your rig.

I even asked the sheriffs that were on duty there and they said there is nothing I can do.

Unfortunately, your best option, seeing how you want to keep the functionality of your rig in place, is to buy a Renny era XJ that has died, and transfer over all of your gear to it. This is of course, only one man's opinion on the matter at hand.

PS, I would've gotten something outta the deal!! Complete BS, unless we aren't hearing the whole story....

I really think he should pay for it, but you sign up for damage ina mud bog anyway. Should have been prepared to take home a damaged vehicle.

That is impressive and very intimidating, But looks to me like its got an IFS system . To me, anyone that has the money and power to buy the first 100 has the extra money to wheel and mod it. Can't wait to see some of those pics
