I Effin love xj's, last year i towed out a minivan buried to the frame in mud(no shovel required), early this year i towed out my cousins ford ranger to the jy, needless to say it was in a foot a snow and down a slight hill brakes were locked up and frozen in the ground, then today my cousin-in-law just about lost his dodge diesel 15or 2500 over a 10 foot hill and my bro pulled him out using the jeeps axle( no other tow point avail)

Any body else have any towin stories or impressive stuff you did in your jeep that made your jaw drop?

When I first got Chery (Was 100% stock! So no recovery points...) me and my dad went out with it, bogged in mud up to the tailpipe (As in the tailpipe was in the mud), thought we'd have to bring out the F250 to pull her out... we rocked it back and forth for about 5 minutes and she dug herself out, no shovels, no boards, no one pushing. Just accelerating forward and reverse. And afterwords, we inspected it, no damage whatsoever, just had to hose her off!

pssshht ... amateurs ...
D35, 3" lift, 30" street tires (Revos), IIRC my XJ's first recovery. There's a blank spot in the middle of the video. The good stuff comes after the pause. Oh ... and that's an H1 buried to the belly.

Pulled a dead fork lift (3 ton lift toyota ) into our barn to work on it.... I didn't know that they had left it in gear on the automatic trans. but pulled it like nothing. Even with a locked D35 on 31's!

My husband ( bless his heart! ) got a little tipsy one night and drove our 3/4 ton Powerwagon into a ditch ( filled with snow of course ) I yanked it out and towed it the rest of the way home with my Jeep.

I pulled out a long bed, extended cab chevy diesel that had buried his 44 inch tires. Jeep pulled it right out. there were about 15 other 4x4s around that were laughing when I was hooking up...they were clapping afterwards.
