Honestly anything over 65 mph starts really effecting gas mileage.

you wont need to go over 85 anyway. the most fun speeds are 0-20 mpg (muddin and wheelin) i have a 00 ang its got 100 on the speedo and i got it buried straight down which was like 120-130 i think. put a f.a.i. on it for about 4 days

My 93's only goes to 85 and I have buried it once just to see what the Jeep could do.
I rarely ever go past 70.
Just because the speedo goes up really high does not mean the car will go that fast. My old Grand Am's speedo went up to 160 but there was no way in hell the car would go that fast without strapping a rocket motor to the roof.

this is a picture of "someones" speed i know.... in a 97+ cherokee... he was going faster and the needle was just bouncing up and down like crazy. FYI he was going down hill...
