Went to the Outer Banks, NC for vacation this year. Between Morris Farms and Route 12 we counted the Wranglers and Cherokees. Maybe 50 miles. 99 Wranglers and 7 Cherokees. Wasn't that congested either. Wranglers sure are popular here.

The brodozer scene is getting worse too. Now they put half a lift kit in. Jack the front way up and sag the ***. Stretch the tires... Looks so stupid. I really don't understand how these trends catch on.

Jeeps are very popular here in Orange County Cali- varies from the stock to the built but very few, I'm sure, see dirt time. I enjoy seeing a sexy milf cruising her mall crawler- but of course I'm just checking out her lift

I only wave to XJ's because I'd never have a hand on the wheel if I waved to every Jeep in my area. Had one XJ wave at me first and I have to say, I was all xD It's right up there with getting the wave from a fellow biker

Here in Ky it seems Jeeps are really gaining popularity too. What really surprises me is how many Patriots there are now, I will see probably 10 on my way home from work and that is 15 miles through a town of 18k people lol. It used to be Commanders but now it is Patriots, but also see about 7 XJs 10 TJs, who knows how many JKUs every day. Of course the dealer here in town keeps at least 30 Jeeps on the lot at all times.

I think the thing that makes Jeep a more recognizable brand compared to any other is versatility and the ability to fully create a custom, suited to your needs/lifestyle. You can get anything from a city cruiser to a backwoods blaster, From no lift to high lift and any accessories you see fit. No other vehicle has the ability to have such diverse options for creating a rig that reflects you. So when you hear that one Jeep commercial that says Jeep is about Freedom, they're right. You are free to build it however you see fit.
