Too light, too unstable, no flex, lacks torque. Plus, I'm only 5'9" and I can't imagine being folded into that.

On the positive side ... Pandas are known to be ... cute ... ummm ... yeah. Cute.

When has lightness been a negative aspect of a 4wd rig?
This vehicle weighs only 1600 lbs and has a very low center of gravity, that means it will take some angle before rolling over.
Low torque? Have you ever heard of power-to-weight ratio?
I don't beleive you are 5.9 show me a pic...

Have we met?

Go to JeepForum, click on the thread that says "Wharton Run July 25", post #142 and click on his pics. I'm in there ...

As for the little buggy thing ... all the "scientific" stuff means nothing to me. I forgot to mention the most important point. It's Fugly. I can't drive an ugly vehicle. Sorry.

I hate mud ... Took my boots right off. And on that subject, I had some higher boots in the XJ, and my waders. I still hate mud.

Actually that is the worst kind of mud because it is made of sand and sticks as hell. My favourite wheeling surface is prolly snow, but i don't dislike sand and forests. I hate rocks, especially those middle/small ones that make the jeep shake and wear my bushings.

Also, thanks to Fiat, the Patriot / Compass will be discontinue and replaced with the PANDA. (I never tough Jeep could make something worst than the Compass ).

I just puked a little in my mouth, then laughed at the Rubicon designation.

The XJ lives and built everyday.
Guess Where?!?!?!?!

China.

Maybe you could get them to import it.?
Its only 1/2 the price of what a new XJ would be today.
starting price will be just 100,000RMB or $12,906USD.
