Man i wish i got a video of me jumping my jeep this winter. So me and several friends were board at college in the wonderful city of Flint, MI. Well after a few beers (maybe several) I decided i want to go play in the snow! It was snowing all evening and school got shut down for the following day (rare occurrence at college but we did get like a foot) Across the street from where i live is a closed down golf course, Flint go figure, so we started tooling around in the powder snow, drifting and whatnot when i went off one of the golf greens' drop offs. This got me the idea to jump my jeep!!! So i continued to hit this golf green from the backside since its more of a jump, i did it over and over going faster and faster. At last i hit the back of the green going 45-50mph and just launched it. We got out and measured off how far we fly which is easy in deep snow. We flew about 30ft, which almost cleared the whole green and idk how high we got. It was a blast and called it quits on a high note. Went back to drink some more beer and celebrate the 1st snow day we had at college in years.

We ended up having 3 snow days that semester and each time resulted in playing on the golf course, couch sled pulling, drifting competitions, or street snowboarding. Live hard, Frat harder

Oh come on, we all have done dumb things.. I had a 1975 Plymouth Valiant when I was a junior in HS (1990). There was this good sized hump in the road at this intersection in my now wifes old neighborhood. Her boyfriend at the time had a 1976 Lincoln Continnential Town Car. This thing was HUGE! Well, I was behind him going into the neighborhood and he took off like a bat out of hell. So I floored it in my Valiant (318 CID, auto). He hit that hump at about 50 and launched that monster of a car. Sticks the landing and off he goes. Well, I hit it, went airborne, maybe 2 to 3 feet off the ground. Well, my car nosed the landing. I didnt find out until later that I broke a sway bar mount and tweaked the chassis, sagged it pretty good. There were 2 dents on my roof at the "B" pillar between the front and rear doors. Ahhhh memories......... But being 38 now, I wouldnt even consider doing that on a public road, much less in a neighborhood. It was fun though.

Yeah the day before thaatt I was in my parents suburban and hit that same hill at around 60 and I'm pretty sure the back tires got a few inches of air but not much, so that's why I decided to go big in my jeep. It was great. Def a story to tell.

I hit uphill railroad track crossing with a flat after it at 75 when I was young. It was a brand new chevy 4x4 (I said I was young, and dumb.) it launched about four feet, and bounced three times. Blew out all four shocks, tore the axle bumpers off, broke both axle assembles, and dented the back of the cab with the bed from frame flex. Never jumped anything again, except a motorcycle. Never owned another GM product either. Four wheels in the air is not a good thing. Unless you have deep pockets.
