On that note does anyone besides me have everything go just right when you work on someone else vehicle (or really ANYTHING for that matter) but not even close when it comes time for your stuff?

For me its the simplest jobs that usually turn out to be overly complicated. I bet doing a heater core would go smoothly, whereas putting in a new thermostat turns into an all day job.

No a heater core would be a month long project since I would end up breaking some stupid screw or plastic tab that could only be replaced from some company in Abu Dhabi.

Oh no I am not falling for that again, I can't afford the beer on these 2 beer jobs neither can my liver. My wife has lots of new jobs for the old XJ all lined up for me. I think the next one is going to be the C101 elimination, I just can't wait to see what I can break doing that. Then will be the ECU swap from an 89 or 90.

Looks like a typical week end in the garage, if it were just all IPA then I would be in heaven, hey maybe that is the problem, too much beer, not a clear head so I break things.....Nah never could have too much beer working on a Jeep.
