disregard im sending him his $ back and asking him to return the switches.
** im offering to give him 50% back. Due to the fact I know they worked when removed and How do I know he didnt do something in error and mess them up or fry the circuits in them during installation**
is this wrong?

Tough call to make. Go with your gut feeling. And move on.

I dont want to screw or **** anyone off, im an honest guy. This is the absolute first time I have had anything like this happen. Ive sold tons of jeep parts online and thru ebay, several Electrical items with no problems. im not saying it went bad sitting but i was in the jeep when it popped the radiator and it was on cruise at the time coming back from a wheeling trip. and since then those parts have been stored indoors for the last 6mo when the jeep was gutted for a stretch and big block swap. my gut is callling BS and he is going to let paypal dispute it out. you can read all day long but unless you have a factory service manual. How can you properly diagnose it off of something he read on the forum. He added cruise to his jeep. it didnt come factory. There are a number of things that can cause it not to come on and the list goes on. I just want to be fair

I think you are being fair. Get your stuff back and test it. If it is still good, give him the money back. Minus the shipping cost. If its not good Idk. But that guy has to remember that any electrical item bought at the autoparts store usually has a no return policy.
