Default just rec'd my FBW2 bumper

Rec'd my Rigidco FBW2 bumper Monday and primed it last night.

I'll post more pics as it progresses. So far, I am really impressed with the quality of materials and workmanship.

You are correct. There is much more to it than what my first pics show. I'll post more as I get the rest painted and start mounting it up.

Here's a couple of pics of what the finished product will look like. Mine is slightly different in that I had them "french" in openings for fog lamps & I'll have a Warn XD9000i.

I've not yet decided what, if any, lights I should run on top of the bumper. I'd like to add two more driving lights. Because of the square front end, it may look better with rectangular lights. Anyone have any pics or suggestions?

i would run the hella 550's they are square and work really great. best part is if you upgrade the wiring only you can run crazy bright bulbs in them. if you want. but they come stock with 55w h3 halogens. i run them on my roof rack with upgraded bulbs

How much more was it for them to modify the bumper to take the fog lamps?

It was an extra $40. The cool thing is that Terry can modify them for whatever lights you want. He can do round, rectangular...whatever. He said that they have samples of pretty much any light around and can make the bumper accept whatever you want.

He advised me of a 2x3 rectangular that uses a crystal rod lens. It creates a very wide, flat beam which is what I was shooting for b/c I plan to use them to replace the fogs that were in my factory bumper.

I like Hellas, too. I have 4 Hella 500's on my safari rack and have upgraded them to 100 watts bulbs, made a suitable harness, etc. One nice thing about Hellas is that they are good quality and if I smash one on a low hanging limb, they don't cost an arm and a leg to replace.

its a light.

ahendelr since you have round lights on the rack,, stick with that theme and use round lights on your bumper. just go with 2, identical ones used on the rack.
