So lets say you are going to learn algebra. Your first day you head to class the and teacher hands you a algebra book (search button) and in this book it starts you off from the basics. You didnt sit there and throw the book to the floor (like everyone here that doesnt search) and just start asking questions. Of course not you would look like an idiot. You didnt ask can I see every algebra book thats 4.5" thick and the cover is black. over and over again did you? of course not you didnt want to look like and idiot. You started on page one and read through it (used the search button) then started to ask questions.
No one does that here. I tell them to search and they get butt hurt.

Bead locks...i can do nothing but agree with you on that but only with basic questions sucks as, oil, types I should use.
Air filters, spark plugs, lift kit questions!!! OMG ****ing lift kit questions its ok if u have a question about putting it on. But asking what's the best________ has been ran into the dirt.
My argument comes from advance questions that require a lot of reading that some members can brake down and make easier...thats my argument. Yes basic questions should be searched.. Advanced ones should not be blown up...i think everyone on the forum can agree there. BC seeing "best lift or exhaust muffler ?'s (when I made a thread specifically to clean that up) is annoying! I agree with you there xj beadlocks

I can't imagine someone posting a thread saying "I used search and found my answer." While we might see a lot of duplicate topic threads, to broadly say no one uses it just isn't right.
I've done quite a bit of searching and found the answer I was looking for, honestly I've held back a few question threads because of this nasty attitude I've found here from some people about "should have used search"

Gotta say, Im mixed on the issue. Does a constant stream of common questions like "what oil do I use?" or "what tire pressure?", or the ultimate "i farted and it stinks, what do I do?" gets frustrating. With these topics, use the damn search button. HOWEVER!
My second side can see where the guys who post their delimma and have searched. Let's say you need to replace the radiator. You search, and find a write-up. BUT, just to make sure and to acquire any possible foresighted advice, you post a thread asking for help. This I find COMPLETELY acceptable. You searched, you wanted confirmation and some hints/tips/tricks, and you made a thread. That's the forum for you. But damn, when you have 10 oil threads all on the same page, that's annoying, and that's why guys like me rant about the search button. But I don't think I'm an **** about it. I don't jump in and scream "OMG DUDE YOU DIDNT SEARCH IM GONNA STAB YOU IN DA BUTT". I keep it casual, and usually answer the question anyways.
