I can daily mine if I wanted to but I choose not to because gas ain't cheap no mo'. I drive it locally around town whenever I get a chance though and every now and again to work and back which is a 60 mile round trip.

Lol, started this thread two XJs ago, so current daily driver...
'99 4X4 4.0/auto
175K-ish miles
3.5" lift
Wheelwells trimmed out
OrFab bumper
Trucklites
Soft-8s w/ 31s
Rusty's 1/4 armor
Was a bit over the top when I got her, so I scaled her back on the tires, and after a LOT of careful trimming and shaping, molded factory flares onto her.
Day1
As she sits now
Replaced all front end steering and suspension right of the bat, and have made various repairs/improvements along the way. But for an old jeep that consistently sees 350-500mi a week, she's unbelievably well behaved.
Love my golden badger.

My '99 XJ has been my daily driver since last summer so I guess its status is legit by now. (Trans crapped out on my previous daily.) The only major upgrade is rear disc brakes, other than that it's pretty much stock aside from a few minor items. Since it's not used off-road I've thought about installing a 242 transfer case but the 231 has done quite well in the snow.

My XJ is my only vehicle. Check out the build thread here
3.5 RE Superflex and 30x9.5x15 Dynapro ATs. I've dealt with the rust and now it's a reliable vehicle for camping trips and some offroading. Next mods include brown dog motor mounts, new power steering pump, seat covers and a stealth enclosed subwoofer.

This is my daily driver. I bought it about 18 months ago to be my daily and fishing/kayak machine. It gets about 80 miles per day. I was lucky to get it with just 49k on the clock (unheard of). But I have since rebuilt the front end and worked out all of the driveline issues. It has great road manners, and is plenty capable in the snow and off road for the types of areas we have around where I live.
