This is my daily driver. I bought it about 18 months ago to be my daily and fishing/kayak machine. It gets about 80 miles per day. I was lucky to get it with just 49k on the clock (unheard of). But I have since rebuilt the front end and worked out all of the driveline issues. It has great road manners, and is plenty capable in the snow and off road for the types of areas we have around where I live.

Love the manual! The whole reason I choose this Jeep! My last XJ was a manual as well. My other 2 cars are manual too. I cant stand autos and it keeps the other half from wanting to drive any of them haha. She will learn one day.

I guess the only reason I have is that it had an AX15 to start with. So when I got the 4wd version of it, I still had to swap over the bellhousing and parts inside the tail shaft housing. I would have had to buy those parts if I went with the NV. Couldnt go wrong either way.

each gearbox has its pros and cons and the argument will live on forever. if you're somewhat open minded, you'll realize that it's not about the transmission type but rather what the person driving it likes more.
that being said, here's my daily. almost 220k kilometers, which translates to 136k miles.
