here is my daily 99 xj sport with 180k miles. its gotten me through college and work.
its got a cherry bomb exhaust, 8mm spark plug wires, 3" intake piping with a pod filter. built the rear bumper myself, led headlights, has a 4" lift kit but it needs new leaf springs. I plan on cutting the fender wells bigger and making custom fender flares from metal, also plan on putting in a roll cage. it has a slipping trans so it will need a rebuilt trans soon but id like to put a manual trans in it.

Engine: 4.0L FI OHV 6cyl
It has a fuzzy steering wheel. Can't beat that NV heat during summer without it
I've got yeeaaaarrrss to go until this thing dies I hope.
Jeep: 1998 Cherokee Sport 4.0L FI OHV 6cyl 4x4 Dana 30 front Dana 35
Miles: About 87K
Tires: Destination LE2 P-Metric Owl P225/75R15
Mods: K&N air filter, Moog tie rod/tie rod ends/drag link, recently bought but have not installed Moog upper and lower control arms. I had a sweet Jack in the Box antenna topper. Some scum bag tree branch hung a little too low into the 45mph road and swiped it off my antenna a few months ago though!
Quirks: I have not gotten a car was since I moved out to Las Vegas back in Spring 2015. Someone drew a ***** on the hood several months ago. I left it. Owned by my grandma prior to her hooking me up with the deal of a century. I fell asleep at the wheel and totaled my 98 taurus and so she decided she needed a new vehicle two months later and "happened to notice" I was in market for a new vehicle. She would not let me pay her more than a dollar though. When she gave it to me in 2011 only had like 38K miles on it. Some other things, the turn signal works, but does not turn off after you make the turn so you have to manually unclick it back to off. My gas tank loves me and stays on full all the time. I have ran out of gas several times because I use the odometer to track how many miles I have until I need to refuel since the pump assembly floater went bad. I try to refill by 250 miles to ensure I do not run out and keep a gallon in the trunk at all times right next to the board I use to prop up the lift gate. Well, used to prop it up since the shocks went back a few years ago. I actually just replaced the lift gate shocks so it now holds itself up again. It also makes a nice gurgling noise the first couple days after I fill up the gas tank. People think there is a thirsty goblin under my car drinking all my precious gasoline. I also have this weird thing with my AC when I am accelerating usually past 40mph the AC cuts out and goes to defrost. I figured out a trick to get it to work though by setting the cruise control to the speed I want to go, then speed about 5-10mph over that speed, shut the AC off and select 1 for the fan, turn the AC back on as the Jeep is decelerating, then bingo, ice cold air comes out. Then I can turn it back to whatever fan setting I want. Sucks though living in NV now because of the altitude when traveling around the South West. Lots of mountains so it cuts off the AC and I gotta do that little dance again every time I go up in altitude while on trips to AZ or CA or to work in the mountains, or go on hiking trips. Especially during the summer.
Future changes: Thinking in several years I might look into giving it a fun paint job for ****s and giggles. Maybe an orange or something. Then again, I like not having attention drawn on me so I will probably leave it. I have the droopy liner on the ceiling. I saw someone a few years ago who did all zebra print on their ceiling and sun visors. I have looked at different fabrics and considered maybe changing mine to something fun. I love horror movies, have thought about maybe doing a Classing Frankenstein fabric for the ceiling and visors. Not really a priority though, so probably a long time from now.

So my daily driver kinda died the other week. I bought a parts truck with 100K fewer miles on the engine. Swapping that over then will post new pics.

Recent find for her 600 mile/wk DD
2000 Sport @230k mi.
Current WIP: Installing a headlight relay harness upgrade today. Already did the 1/0 power and ground upgrades with 160 amp alternator.
Spent a few months catching up on PO neglect like hubs and new Spicers, brakes KYB monotubes, poly bushings, undercoating, redid the exterior trim ect.
Averages about 23 mpg on highway.
Was a tan headliner and trim. We went with monochrome since we did it ourselves. We may be old be we are not worthless.^^
