I say pre 97. All post 97's ive rode in have squeaky interiors and it drives me crazy. my old 98 and my now present 00 both squeak like crazy. Every time i fix a squeak, a new one pops up The 92 i used to have was tight all over. I think i like the looks and feel of the pre 97 dash better anyway.

I don't have a dictionary, but you can go to webster.com and look it up.
Functional means it does something for my rig. Looks don't help you crawl over that rock, or help make it through that mud hole.
Lockers sure do though.
Wtf?

One being 'if you can spend that 20$ on making your ride look nice, your wasting 20$ to make it go faster.'
It stems from having too many horrid body kits and such. I know that's typically not the case here, but similar principal.
I am willing to ignore the missing chunk of grill.that ended up stuck in some snow bank because I want to complete my ARB set and I need to save every penny.
On the other, I rattle canned my exterior, so looks aren't 100% lost on me. I just feel they aren't very important, esp ifi get to chose between TWO XJs anyway.

Even though i have and love my '92, i have to admit i like the newer style better. The interiors look a little dated in the older ones. The steel hatch helps with the decision too. Cool game, very ----- interactive.
